Lenders financing the largest solar plant in the country needed an independent view of whether its design, its programme and its production forecast held together.

The reporting reconciled the production forecast with what the terrain and the chosen tracker geometry could actually deliver, and set out where the programme carried the most risk.

What we find

This is what an independent engineer is paid to find.

Real findings. No client, plant or place is identified.

01

Tracker rows that shaded each other at low sun angles, on ground the yield model had treated as flat.

02

A module bill of materials that did not match the certified design, found in the factory before shipment.

03

Drainage sized for the wrong return period, with erosion already cutting under the pile lines at handover.

04

A performance ratio computed to the convenience of the O&M contract rather than to IEC 61724.

05

Insulation resistance failures across a whole sector, traced to cable damaged during backfill.

Independence is structural

Independence is not a slogan. It is how the company is constituted.

As a Type A inspection body under ISO/IEC 17020, we are independent of the design, supply, installation, ownership and operation of the assets we examine. We produce no design, sell no equipment and take no EPC work.
